Together, We Carry On
This time last year, January 2025, came with an air of excitement going into the new year when we awarded our first two grantees and I stepped into the role of The Circle Community's Executive Director. We hit the ground running with not only hopes and dreams—but real goals that felt possible and persistent. But as 2025 progressed, many of our fellow nonprofits and women’s organizations experienced major changes including loss of funding; we all braced ourselves for the social and economic aftermath.
The tone had changed and so did my stance; I switched to a mode of listening, learning, and adapting strategies to account for the ripple effects in our community, especially for women in business.
Now, looking ahead into 2026, the goals remain the same and my posture is grounded, steadfast. The new mantra is: Together, we carry on.
What remains unchanged is the value of partnership and collaboration—the kind that brings everyone forward.

At the Annual Forum, women entrepreneurs, professionals, and those in job transition gathered to learn, network, and engage our curiosity.
Key Leader Luncheon with leaders across industries who put their minds together to form a strategic approach to community-driven work.
Our Women’s Organization Collaboration breakfast, where we shared ideas and encouraged one another, modeling the truth that we're all in this together.
WIRED to Give annual give-back event where TCC, along with three other nonprofit organizations, were invited to speak and receive donations via event sponsors and attendees.
