WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
Women-owned businesses (51% or more ownership) located in the Twin Cities and seven-metro surrounding areas
Registered legal business in good standing with the state of MN
Earn $300,000 or less in annual revenue
Agrees to the terms and conditions

The grant application process for the 2025-2026 Cycle starts October 15th and will close on October 31st.

Circle Team members donate their time, industry-specific service, product, or physical space to benefit The Circle Community nonprofit needs and/or the needs of our recipients.
The Circle Community highlights our Circle Team members through:
Website Logo Placement for 1 year (or longer if services continue)
Social Media and Newsletter Highlights
Invitation to an exclusive thank you event

If you are eligible for the program and fill out all necessary fields in the application, you will see a confirmation screen after hitting “Submit”.
If you are selected as a finalist, you will be notified via email in early November 2025. Being selected as a finalist does not guarantee you will receive a grant. As a finalist, additional documentation might be required and you will go through an interview process.
We will be announcing our grant recipients on December 5, 2025 and awarding funds by check or ACH deposit on January 23, 2026 after grantees have completed their first implementation support meeting.

The BWC Jackie Wurm Grant Committee will review applications to determine recipients. For this grant cycle beginning January 2026 we will be awarding two $2,500 microgrants to:
