You Belong In This Room

You know the feeling: when a surge of energy fills a room and you can’t help but feel like you were meant to be in this space, on this day, with this exact combination of humans?

This was the collective sentiment on July 20, 2026 when a group of women entrepreneurs, professionals, and community members gathered to explore the 2026 Annual Forum theme: Let’s Journey Together.

The Circle Community and The Business Women’s Circle continue to support women in businesses with peer support and education opportunities, and through the partnership of sponsors and donors, we empowered 20 women in business to attend the Annual Forum. Scholarship Ticket Sponsor and financial advisor, Stacy Hunt, was inspired to make an impact…

“I know how powerful it is when women are given the opportunity to lead, create, and grow something of their own. It represents independence, resilience, and the courage to take risks.” Stacy Hunt, Scholarship Ticket Sponsor

Thanks to Stacy and a number of other donors, offering 20 scholarship tickets removed a financial barrier and provided access to timely information about finances, business ownership, navigating change in the workplace and our community, marketing, self-leadership, Ai/emerging tech, and more.

For many of these scholarship ticket recipients, the Annual Forum served as a catalyst to find what’s next:

their next job, launching a new product or service, finding fellow collaborators to journey with them into a more resilient future, and beyond.

I hope to one day be able to pay forward this opportunity for another new woman-business owner!

I was able to meet and connect with women who share the value of supporting women in business. Great networking - it helped me not feel alone.

I had a serendipitous moment at the Annual Forum! Over a year ago I had been looking at this particular company’s website as they had a career opportunity I was interested in applying for. I held back from doing so because on paper I didn’t have all the qualifications the job required. Fast-forward to the Annual Forum, at the table I chose to sit at...without knowing it, I met one of the owners of the company. I was able to connect, ask her some questions, and exchange our contact information. The future is unknown, yet maybe someday we might have the opportunity to collaborate and work together.

Expanding The Room

Not only were these women journeying together at the Annual Forum, but they were also taking part in a practice of belonging: we are here to do good in our businesses, communities, and homes—in every room we enter we can carry the power of expansive generosity. Especially in times when we are overwhelmed by messages of scarcity and division, we see the ROI multiply tenfold by investing in women who create economies rooted in abundance.
